Difference of Other Digits is Even

Multiplying Two Numbers Ending With Five When Difference Of Other Digit is Even:  This method is used when we have two numbers ending with five and the difference of the other digit is even  Such type of Techniques of Vedic Maths help us to perform calculations in a much faster way.  Mastering such type of techniques is very essential in Competitive Exams where time is very precious.

We will take following steps to multiply such numbers

For Example: We have to multiply 95 with 75.

As both the numbers are ending with five and the difference of other digit is even

Step 1: As the diffrence is even we will append 25 in the answer.

Answer = ____25

Step 2: We will multiply the other digits. In this case we will multiply 9 with 7

Result 1 = 9 X 7 = 63

We will now add the digits.That is Result 2= 9+ 7 = 16

We will divide the Result 2 with 2. We get Result 3=16/2 = 8

Result 4 = Result 1 + Result 3 = 63 + 8 = 71

We will prefix the Result 4 in the answer

Answer= 7125
